The Board of Trustees
of the Tacoma Public
Library  The Tacoma Public Library is governed
by a five member Board of Trustees appointed by the city's Mayor, and confirmed
by a vote of the Tacoma City Council. Members are appointed for a five year
term-of-office.
The members of the Library's Board of

Meetings of the Library's Board of Trustees
are held on the third Wednesday of each month, beginning at 5:30 p.m., in the
Olympic Room, located on the first floor of the downtown Main Library (1102
Tacoma Avenue South).
All meeting of the Board of Trustees are open to the public, and
time is set aside at each meeting for public comment.
